Chicago Wedding Connections was founded in 1973 and incorporated under the name Sound Modual Ltd. Sound Modual developed the idea of videotaping live bands for presentation. By 1979, over 1200 clients per year were viewing and reserving orchestras and bands at our offices around the Chicagoland area. In the early eighties, live entertainment was overtaken by DJs as the music of choice at most private social events. Sound Modual became Wedding Connections and formed an in-house DJ department dedicated to providing reliable, professional, full time Chicago DJ services.

At this same time, manufacturers of Professional Video Equipment were designing industrial cameras that made it possible for us to offer professional location video services at affordable prices. We have upgraded our equipment every three to four years since the early eighties to keep up with this evolving and improving technology. Our in-house staff of Chicago videographers are trained to provide beautiful coverage of your special event in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
